Welcome to Little Bit of Country Daycare!

Hello!  My name is Lori and I would like to welcome you to Little Bit of Country Daycare, located between Rochester and Eyota, Minnesota.  I opened the doors of my home for child care in September, 1992.   Since that time, I have cared for over 100 children of all different age groups.  Watching the children grow and learn everyday has made my job a very enjoyable and rewarding experience.

MY PHILOSOPHY

I believe my job, as a family child care provider is to play a supportive role with the parents of the children in my care.  I strive to enhance the physical, emotional, social and cognitive growth of each child in my care with a wide variety of activities.  The activities as well as the childcare environment are planned specifically to enhance the learning process to insure that children are prepared to start Kindergarten.   With this in mind, I strive to offer a balance of activities to develop the whole child, keeping in mind that young children learn best through play in an atmosphere that is loving, nurturing and offers positive reinforcements and guidance throughout the day.
